I'm Kara, the photographer behind Kara Hutchinson Photo. I live in the Leander, Texas area with my husband, Houston, and our three girls, Afton, Quinn, and Mazie.

​

Photography has been part of my life for nearly twenty years. I bought my first camera while I was in nursing school and quickly discovered how much I loved preserving the moments that become our favorite memories. Although I worked as a registered nurse after graduating, creativity has always had a way of calling me back behind the camera.

These days I photograph a limited number of sessions each year so I can give every client my full attention. My favorite sessions are relaxed, genuine, and centered around real connection—whether that's a growing family, an engagement, or celebrating a new season of life.
